NDIS Plan Meeting
A NDIS planning meeting will be held with a Local Area Coordinator (LAC), ECEI Planner or NDIS Planner. This is an opportunity for a participant to share their story and identify what they need and want in the upcoming year. This meeting will determine the level of funded support received in the upcoming year.
The NDIS relies on information from the participant to assist in creating a snapshot of what’s happening for them. This allows them to determine the level of support and see the opportunities for different types of support to be included in the plan.
Collect Evidence
Through providing personal supporting evidence and/or other service provider about the person’s daily life it
assists the planner to create a picture of the situation.
It is useful to highlight the person’s daily life in different environments, e.g. home, school and the community (shopping, participation in sport, park) as it highlights where the supports are required.
NDIS Planning Booklet
Book 2
The NDIS provide a Planning Booklet to assist in the preparation of the meeting.
