NDIS Plan Approval

Once the NDIS Plan has been approved, the NDIA will contact the NDIS participant to confirm the plan has been approved. It’s important to make sure the details of the plan are correct and the participant is happy with the funding which has been allocated. The Planner who developed the plan with the participant should be contactable to assist them if I have any questions.

Access the NDIS Plan
and Portal

The NDIS online participant portal is called ‘myplace’. It is a secure website portal on the Australian Government’s myGov website where the NDIS participant or a person they trust (a nominee or child representative) can access their NDIS information.

So Joe can provide NDIS participants with information from the NDIS Step-by-Step Guide to accessing their participant portal. If a participant has Support Coordination included in their plan, the Support Coordinator can support them to gain access.

Contacting the NDIS

Not satisfied with the
NDIS Plan?

If a participant is not satisfied with the inclusions in their NDIS plan, they have the right to ask for an internal review of their plan by the NDIA.

The ECEI Coordinator, Local Area Coordinator (LAC) or NDIA planner will explain how to do this and can put them in touch with advocates who can assist them with this process.
